Monthly Classes

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Sunday May 4th 6:00-7:30pm

Join us for the ultimate in rest and relaxation! Restorative Yoga is considered the “antidote to stress.” A way to truly melt away the tension in your shoulders, back, and hips built up by stress and general tensions created as we move throughout day.

During this practice, you will be lead through a sequence of postures designed to move your spine in all directions, while every curve of the body is completely supported by props, and enjoyed for 5-15 minutes.  As your body is being opened by the position of the pose, you will also be guided through gentle breath awareness and meditative techniques to find a deeper release of mind and body.  Class will end with a guided Yoga Nidra practice while laying down in a supported savasana. Yoga Nidra is meditation practice that promotes a profound state of relaxation as it brings you to a state of consciousness just hovering over sleep.
